LCS-157 (vehicular SIAB)

The LCS-157 System-In-A-Box (SIAB) is a flexible, software-defined, complete LTE network connectivity solution, designed to meet the most strenuous requirements for connectivity, dynamic control, and easy setup in a vehicular setting. It enables 4G coverage to a select surrounding area wherein it can function as a stand-alone cellular network or as an extension of an existing network, thereby improving quality of service and improving overall network capacity. Each SIAB is a “plug and play“ solution that includes an eNodeB with integrated RF and all the required software for a complete cellular network, including a Network Core (EPC) and IMS functions.

The LCS-157 contains a multiport router/switch, full commercial-grade router security suite and functionality including firewalls, port forwarding, blocking, DHCP and static assignment, IPSEC, VPNs and more. The LCS includes additional processing available to host customer-specific applications, such as analytical engines, PLI and collaboration tools, web servers, voice and video sharing and storage, all within a secure and powerful operating environment. The LCS is compatible with many Network Management Systems and Element Management Systems, including those developed by WSS. There is an additional centralized management tool called MyCell™ which is a web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) that resides on the LCS-157 itself.

LCS-158 (manpack SIAB)

The LCS-158 is a high-performance, 4G LTE Small Cell Manpack, designed for mission-critical data comms. Ideally suited for tactical teams on the move, or at rest operating at the edge of the network and/or in degraded environments. Similar to the LCS-157, albeit with a reduced footprint and power consumption for Man-Portable Operations, it enables 4G coverage to the surrounding area wherein it can function as a standalone cellular network, or as an extension of an existing network. It is a “plug and play“ solution that includes an eNodeB, integrated RF and a Network Core (EPC) and IMS functions. It is designed to meet the strenuous requirements for connectivity, dynamic control and ease of use, while still hosting all necessary functionality that a tactical team requires, such as voice and video sharing, voice and video storage, PLI and collaboration tools, web servers, and more. In short, the LCS-158 is used for a complete, easy-to-deploy network, with multiple levels of dynamic capacity and redundancy.

2. LCS-168 (manpack 4G/5G SIAB)
LCS-167 (vehicular 4G/5G SIAB)

The LCS-167 is a software-defined, combined 4G/5G connectivity solution. Similar in scope to the earlier LCS-157 platform, it is designed to meet strenuous requirements that require a flexible and complete solution that is vehicle-based and provides a complete 4G/5G network to the surrounding area. It can work either as a stand-alone cellular network or an extension of an existing network, thereby improving quality of service and creating additional overall network capacity. Each LCS-167 includes a gNB, integrated RF, 5G Core, as well as upper-layer application functions, such as voice, video, and policy controls. The LCS-167 also contains a multiport router/switch, full commercial grade router security suite and functionality including firewalls, port forwarding, blocking, DHCP and static assignment, IPSEC, VPNs and more.

Furthermore, the LCS-167 possesses additional processing available to host customer-specific applications such as analytical engines, PLI and collaboration tools and web servers, all within a secure and powerful operating environment. It boasts an advanced vector signal processor architecture which can support up to five different waveforms or standards and deliver the gap-closing communications and analytics that operators need on the move and at the edge of their network. Extended life and Trust architecture are built-in, thereby enhancing the quality of service and robustness. At the same time, it is ultra-light and power-packed. The LCS is compatible with many Network Management Systems and Element Management Systems, including those developed by WSS. There is an additional centralized management tool called MyCell™ which is a Web Graphical User Interface (GUI) that resides on the LCS-167 itself.

LCS-168 (manpack 4G/5G SIAB)

The LCS-168 is man-portable solution (Manpack) solution, designed for mission-critical data comms. It is ideally suited for tactical teams on the move, or at rest operating at the edge of the network and/or in degraded environments. It enjoys the same vector signal processor architecture as the LCS-167. However, the LCS-168 truly leverages that architecture to achieve the performance it is capable of, such as support for up to five different waveforms and maximized power efficiency. Additionally, extended life and trust architecture are built-in, thereby enhancing the quality of service and robustness. Similarly to the LCS-167 model, it is ultra-light and power-packed.

The 168 platform provides 4G/5G coverage to the surrounding area as a standalone cellular network, or as an extension of an existing network. It is a “plug and play” solution that includes a gNodeB, integrated RF and a Network Core (5G Core) and IMS functions for local video and voice, and other application traffic. It is designed to meet the strenuous requirements for connectivity, dynamic control and ease of use of a tactical team, while still hosting all necessary functionality that a tactical team requires. These include voice and video sharing, voice and video storage, PLI and collaboration tools, web servers, and more. In short, the LCS-168 is used for a complete, easy-to-deploy network, with multiple levels of dynamic capacity and redundancy.
